I'm convinced now that CVS will help! I'm exhausted from trying to keep track of different incremental changes in my code and remembering why I made them.

Good to know that you are motivated to move on to use a version control system.

Just a minor repair, CVS is just one type of version control system and it is an old one. You probably meant VCS in your sentence.
